Creativity Camp 1.0: June 7-11, 2021
This camp is best for ages 11–14, either first-time campers or those who have only attended camp for one or two years. During the week, campers will learn about the creative process and practice engaging and exercising their creativity through hands-on experiences. If you are 14 and you have never been to camp before, then this one is for you. If you are 14 and have attended camp before, then you may want to consider the more challenging Creativity Camp 2.0 (see below). Space is limited to 16 campers.
This year’s theme is: Children’s Story. Campers will work in teams to create their own children’s story and express it in their own: words, photos, illustrations, video, audio, or some other way.
Signing Up and The Waiting List
In recent years we have had a waiting list, so we encourage campers to sign up early to reserve your spot. If you don’t get your first choice, and you are in the 13–15 year old range, you may be given the option to switch to another camp if your first choice camp is full.

“Creativity Camp was super fun. My favorite parts were the QuickFire Challenges and the way the team worked together to finish our project by Friday.”
“Collaboration generates amazing energy. Entering into the creative process together brings wonder and surprise every time.”
“I’m a writer and mostly work alone. Creativity Labs feed my relational, playful sides. And each of the labs I’ve participated in has given me a tool—sometimes just a word or image—to get me past that nasty place called Stuck.”
“Working through the challenges at Creativity Labs has paid off for me as a photographer. This experience has changed the way I look through my lens. I’m seeing light, shape, line and texture in a whole new way.”
